Positive Job outcomes and work-family balance.

Positive Job outcomes and work-family balance

It’s the 21st century now and employment is both a major issue and criterion in the modern world,  where it has taken the charge of defining an individual and creating an identity of the person to the outside world. It’s a world where our job and status in society create a first impression, not the person we are. That’s secondary, but yes… earning in a respectable way is what we all want to do, on the contrary, there are certain things which we often tend to ignore or not give much importance. Our roots and where we emerged from.

Balance is an important thing in our lives, it has the ability to build and disrupt things. However we also know to get something, we need to sacrifice something, in a way that we might never have back. And we tend to prioritize what seems to hold the utmost importance for us. In the end, it all comes down to a question of priorities and side by side, beliefs. How we channel and organise our thoughts inside our head is important because as we enter the domain of jobbing and employment, it’s an addition to our present personal world we reside in, where we keep our close ones, our beloveds, and our family. And it’s normal to get the balance between our work & personal life disrupted. It takes both time and effort and sometimes even takes a toll on our mental health.

As normal human beings, it demands us to be multitaskers. People born with this quality are considered more blessed than people who aren’t. In that case, they have to master this quality which is really important as well as difficult. An absence of this quality in someone’s life makes things even ten times more challenging for them. You might be excelling in your job/career and at the same time be losing your loved ones, fading away of important relationships and never having enough time for them. In that case, one can’t decide if one is actually winning or losing, in the game of life. One must keep one personal and work life separate and never compare one with another because one is where you grew and the other one is the result of your growth. And we often tend to underestimate and ignore the former. Both demands equal time from us and equal involvement, and sometimes compromise, prolonged use of which can be harmful to us. Adjustment is sometimes not the right word sometimes because success always demands some kind of compromise, provided one is really chasing that level of success.

We become what we choose. A good and healthy mindset, along with knowledge and kindness makes one a really suitable candidate for any kind of grade job. So it’s also essential for us to have the knowledge, which isn’t only limited to books but also that we know ourselves as clear as water, that we are well aware of our strengths and weaknesses and modify ourselves accordingly. Feeding the mind with positivity is really important which in turn can boost our confidence a lot, a positive outcome and one of the most desired traits if one is applying/looking for a job.

Work-life and business, even though it isn’t as easy as it seems, it isn’t hard either. Sometimes it just depends on our perspective and how good we are at managing things. We must realise that everyone, even an expert was a novice at first and we must never compare ourselves, our struggles and our success with others. We all are different and unique in our own way and we have our own personal way of thinking and handling things. The art of adjustment and compromise is really an important tool in today’s world.
