Logo Design for - Revive Room

Logo Design for *Revive Room* — A Sustainable Thrift Store

 Project Overview

**Client:** Revive Room (Local Thrift Store)
**Role:** Brand Identity Designer
**Deliverables:** Logo Design, Color Palette, Typography System, Mockups
**Tools Used:** Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate (for texture), Canva (mockups)

---

## 🎯 The Brief

Design a logo that reflects the essence of *Revive Room*, a new thrift store focused on sustainability, secondhand fashion, and community. The brand needed a modern, recognizable identity that stood out from typical thrift store aesthetics while staying true to its eco-friendly mission.

The logo had to:
- Represent the idea of “reviving” old items
- Communicate sustainability and style
- Be versatile across print and digital media
- Feel approachable and trustworthy

---

## 🧠 Research & Inspiration

Before diving into sketches, I researched:
- Existing thrift store branding
- Eco-friendly symbols (leaves, circles, arrows)
- Vintage clothing tags and retro typography
- Sustainable color palettes (greens, earth tones)

Key themes emerged:
- Renewal and transformation
- Minimalism with character
- Earthy colors and organic textures

---

## ✍️ Concept Development

I explored multiple visual directions before settling on the final concept. The most compelling idea combined:
- A **clothing hanger** (representing fashion)
- A **leaf** (symbolizing growth and sustainability)
- Enclosed in a **circular emblem** (to represent unity and renewal)

This concept perfectly aligned with the brand name *Revive Room* and its values.

## 🔨 Design Process

### 1. Sketches & Ideation

Initial pencil sketches focused on integrating the hanger and leaf into a cohesive symbol. I played with different ways to merge the two elements without making the design too busy.

### 2. Digital Refinement

Using Adobe Illustrator, I created a clean vector version of the emblem:
- Sleek, symmetrical hanger wrapped around a stylized leaf
- Soft gradient background in sage green
- Clean sans-serif logotype with soft curves for warmth and readability
- Subtle texture added to the leaf and hanger for depth

### 3. Color Palette

| Color        | HEX Code     | Use                      |
|--------------|--------------|--------------------------|
| Sage Green   | #7D9A82      | Primary / Background     |
| Terracotta   | #C46857      | Accent / Call to Action  |
| Cream White  | #F8F4E3      | Text / Highlight         |

These colors evoke calm, care, and creativity — perfect for a sustainable thrift brand.

### 4. Typography

- **Logotype Font:** Modern, slightly rounded sans-serif for clarity and friendliness
- **Body Font (for mockups):** Complementary typeface used in branded assets for consistency

---

## 📝 Client Feedback

After presenting three variations, the client chose the circular emblem design and requested only minor adjustments:
- Slightly bolder leaf outline for better recognition
- Monochrome version for packaging and tags

Final revisions were made quickly, and the client was thrilled with the outcome.

---

## 🌿 Final Logo Reveal

The final logo combines simplicity with symbolic storytelling:

- **Circular Emblem**: Unity, continuity, and community
- **Hanger + Leaf**: Fashion meets sustainability
- **Earthy Tones**: Eco-conscious and natural beauty
- **Clean Typography**: Modern, readable, and inviting

Mockups were created for tote bags, clothing tags, signage, and social media profiles to show how the logo would be applied in real life.

---

## 🧩 Why This Logo Works

| Element         | Purpose |
|------------------|---------|
| **Circular Emblem** | Symbolizes unity, continuity, and community |
| **Hanger + Leaf** | Combines fashion with sustainability — old meets new |
| **Earthy Tones** | Reflects eco-friendliness and natural beauty |
| **Clean Typography** | Ensures clarity and modern appeal |

Together, these components create a logo that is not only beautiful but deeply meaningful.

---

## 📦 Next Steps

Following the logo launch, we’re working on:
- Custom packaging labels
- Social media templates
- In-store signage
- Apparel branding

The goal is to build a full brand identity that customers instantly recognize and connect with.

---

## 🧡 Final Thoughts

This project was a great reminder that good design is more than just visuals — it’s about telling a story, sharing values, and creating something that lasts. *Revive Room*’s logo does exactly that: it represents sustainability, style, and soul.
